Conor was convicted of committing treason against the king, and as a result he was thrown into jail on the Little Saltee island. Years later, Conor has made friends with some of the prisoners and is figuring out a way to escape the island. There’s just one problem: to escape, he’ll have to build a machine to fly himself out.

Airman is a young adult historical fiction standalone. It includes:

• Minor profanity
• Violence (killing, fighting, descriptions of and blood)
• A kiss

Airman is quite violent, but the humor and witty, sarcastic cast of characters stay true to the author’s trademark hilariousness. The plot is also engaging and has a steampunk vibe.

  1. As soon as I saw it, I thought Steampunk. I like it in small doses.
