Four is a collection of short stories that takes place before Divergent, and can be read before or after the other books in the series. The stories contain:

• Physical desire
• One of Four’s friends makes out with a girl
• Insults
• Drinking alcohol
• Violence (fighting, blood, suicide, child abuse)
