Wisty and Whit are considered criminals by the new government because of their powers. The only thing is, they never knew they had any. Now they must figure out how to use their magic before they end up executed as a Witch and Wizard.

The first book in its series, Witch & Wizard is an enjoyably fast paced story that feels more like the beginning of a journey than a complete tale. Parents should be aware that some of the content may be unsuitable for middle grade readers. It contains:
  • Use of magic in a variety of ways (some of which ultimately cause harm to others)
  • Brief description of dead body
  • Liberal use of sarcasm
  • References to teenage drinking
  • Mass murder of children
  • References to Wicca
  • Some language (Cr*p)

In addition, the two main characters (brother and sister) have a history of troublesome behavior (drinking, detention).

Witch & Wizard is a young adult dystopian, magic fantasy.
