Book Review: Summer Knight (Dresden Files, book 4), By Jim Butcher

Summer Knight (The Dresden Files, #4)
Summer Knight (Dresden Files, book 4)
By: Jim Butcher

It's not a good time to be a wizard – especially if your name is Harry Dresden. The vampires want him dead; the white council blames him for the war; and the only way to exonerate himself is to play with fire and hope he doesn't get burned beyond repair.

Summer Knight is the least sexually charged and gruesome of the first four Dresden Files books. It contains language, killing, injuries, drug use, nudity, references to past sexual activities and arousal. Cover to cover action and multiple insights into Harry's past makes this an enjoyable and noteworthy addition to the series.

Readers should be aware that while it is not strictly necessary to read the Dresden Files in order, there is an overriding story that is easier to follow if you do.
