When a paper-cut turns into much more, Bella's perfect existence dissolves leaving her alone in a world where vampires are not the only monsters worthy of fear.

New Moon drags in the middle, but starts and ends well. There are several non-graphic references to vampire related deaths, a couple injuries, intensive kissing, and sensual physical contact – although there is less sexual material than in Twilight. Depression and intentional recklessness play key roles in this story.
