Mercy has gone up against Werewolves, Vampires, Fey, etc, but when a group of humans claiming to be government agents kidnap Adam and the pack, she must tread carefully for entirely different reasons.

After a little time away from Mercedes' usual surroundings in River Marked, Frost Burned brings us back to the status quo with all the usual and much loved people and places. The book is primarily written from Mercy's point of view, with a few bits from Adam.

Frost Burned includes:

  • Killing
  • Nudity
  • Kissing
  • Injuries (bullet wounds, bruises, broken nose)
  • Desire to eat dead bodies
  • References to a homosexual relationship
  • References to love making
  • No more profanity than seen in prior books
  • Use of dark magic to influence the dead
