The Lost Colony exceeds expectations with additional characters, twists, and dimensions that open up the story to a whole new pile of possibilities. Artemis has started puberty and there are several mentions to his attraction to the opposite sex, but all in a respectful
context. There is no sexual content and while there is violence, injuries, and numerous threats of bodily harm – it does not get any more graphic than blood gushing from a wound.
