The Hunger Games, Book 2
By: Suzanne Collins

Katniss survived the Hunger Games, but surviving the aftermath could prove to be even more challenging. With the capital breathing down her neck and lives endangered by her every word, Katniss must relinquish her future to save those she loves – But will it be enough?

Catching Fire moves the story forward with more death, and just a touch of hope. The political storyline is much more prominent in this story than it was in The Hunger Games (Book 1) and really enhances the plot.

This book contains:
  • drinking
  • intoxication
  • killing
  • injuries
  • kissing
  • sleeping in bed with someone of the opposite sex (sexual activity beyond kissing is not indicated in these instances)
  • physical attraction
  • nudity.

Parents should be aware that the characters frequently exhibit inconsiderate and calloused behavior that can make them hard to sympathize with.
