Book Review: Incarnate (Newsoul, Book 1), By Jodi Meadows

Incarnate (Newsoul, #1)
By: Jodi Meadows

For thousands of years the same souls have been reborn over and over again. Then something that should never have happened did - a new soul was born: Ana. Now she must overcome her youth in a society of old souls to find out why she exists and where she belongs.

An easy and intriguing young adult read, Incarnate flows from cover to cover and leaves you
looking for the next book. It contains physical/emotional abuse by a parent, the use of a god's name as profanity, injuries, killing, nudity, kissing and sensual physical contact in detailed making out scenes. This book is set in a society that is big on lovers rather than marriage, and there are also some references to homosexuality as the souls in this story are not always reincarnated in a body of the same gender.
